Since my “office” is usually in the drivers seat of the customers car, my laptop had to be placed in the passenger seat. This required me to rotate my upper body 90 degrees and lean over each time I need to make changes to the ECU. Not very comfortable, or efficient. Solution: convert a LCD monitor wall mount kit into an adjustable laptop stand. Additional parts include: pipe, flange, and U-channel steel beam section. The first two is from Canadian Tire and the U-channel section is from Metal Supermarket.
Add some Velcro to keep laptop in place.
